I’m Matti Scherzinger, a digital product designer living in Toronto, Ontario. I have a background in graphic design and I'm currently completing a post-graduate certificate to get a deeper understanding of user experience design, motion graphics, project management, and front-end development.
It's important to me that I express aspects of myself through my interests and hobbies. Here are some personal projects that allow me to do that.
I love making posters for concerts and events, especially around my hometown of Sudbury. There's a small, tight-knit music community that I'm proud to be a part of.
I'm inspired by the work of Garrett DeRossett and Jean Mosambi. If you have a show coming up and need a poster, get in touch!
I spend a lot of my free time reading books, and I'm always looking for new recommendations. Some recent favourites are Runaway by Alice Munro and The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson.
I occasionally challenge myself to design new covers for books I love—you can view them here.
I've played in a few bands over the years, the most recent of which was called Lazy Daisies. Check out our weird and wild music here—I play drums.
